Terms and Conditions
Terms for the tree-felling, cutting and branch-chipping services presented on afavagok.hu. Version: 2026-11-07.
1. The service provider
Service provider: Finomtrade Kft.
The Woodcutters team consists of Kálmán Kovács and Dávid Kovács. The contracting and invoicing party for the service is Finomtrade Kft.
2. Quote requests and formation of a contract
Submitting a quote request does not create a contract. Neither the quote request, the automated acknowledgement nor the copy sent to you obliges Finomtrade Kft. to provide an offer, reserve an appointment, carry out work or enter into a contract. Quote requests may be considered at our discretion and declined. The automated reply only confirms that the message has been recorded. Only your name and phone number are required; all other fields, suggested dates and the garden sketch are optional. They do not constitute a booking. This clause does not affect statutory obligations, in particular those relating to data protection and complaint handling.
The scope, location, feasibility, date, total price including VAT, any additional costs and payment method are agreed separately. A contract is formed by expressly accepting the individual offer. The individual agreement and the information due to consumers are recorded on a durable medium, usually by email. The language of communication for these arrangements is Hungarian.
3. Prices and billing
The net price of branch chipping is HUF 30,000 / hour, the 27% VAT is HUF 8,100 / hour; the gross hourly rate payable is HUF 38,100. Time measurement, billing of partial hours and any minimum charge, call-out and material handling are agreed separately before the work. This website does not set an automatic minimum charge.
The tree-felling price ranges are indicative net prices subject to 27% VAT. The final price depends on the size, condition and surroundings of the tree and the work undertaken. The prices shown do not automatically include removal of material or stump removal. Additional work and price changes must be approved in advance. The payment deadline and method are part of the individual agreement; Finomtrade Kft. issues an invoice.
4. Conditions of work
The customer ensures lawful access to the site, the owner's consent and any required official permits, and provides information about cables, utilities and other known risks. We agree separately on where the cut wood and chips will be left. Work that cannot be carried out safely must not begin; in dangerous weather or unexpected circumstances, we agree on a new date.
5. Changes, withdrawal and termination
You can request a date change or cancellation through the contact form, Messenger or WhatsApp. Individual agreements cannot restrict statutory consumer rights.
For distance or off-premises service contracts covered by Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), consumers have a right to withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of concluding the contract, or to terminate it after performance has begun. The declaration may be sent using the contact method specified in the contract or the website's contact form.
Starting work before the 14-day period expires requires a separate, express request from the consumer; the quote request form does not replace this. Where such a request has been made, termination of a lawfully started service may result in a proportionate charge for the work already performed. Full performance ends the right of withdrawal or termination only where the prior consent and acknowledgement of the loss of that right required by law have been given.
Model declaration: “To: Finomtrade Kft. I hereby exercise my right to withdraw from / terminate the contract for the following service: … Date of contract: … Consumer's name and address: … Date: … Signature (for a declaration on paper): …”
6. Complaints and legal remedies
Complaints may be submitted through the contact form, Messenger or WhatsApp. The provider gives a substantive written response to written consumer complaints within 30 days. In the event of defective performance, consumers may exercise their statutory warranty rights under the Hungarian Civil Code; these terms do not exclude the provider's liability.
In a consumer dispute, the consumer may contact the conciliation body responsible for their place of residence. The provider cooperates in conciliation proceedings. Contact details of the bodies: bekeltetes.hu. Budapest Conciliation Board: bekeltet.bkik.hu. Consumers may also initiate proceedings before the consumer protection authority or bring an action before a court.
7. Applicable rules
Hungarian law applies, in particular the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce services, the Consumer Protection Act and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) . Data processing is described in a separate privacy notice .
